How to Use Hostinger Website Builder to Sell Digital Products Online

July 20, 2025

Selling digital products online has never been easier thanks to Hostinger Website Builder. Whether you’re offering downloadable coloring books, eBooks, templates, or any other digital content, you can get up and running in just a few simple steps. This guide breaks down the entire process covered in our video tutorial.

Step 1: Log in and Create Your Website

Start by logging into your Hostinger account. From the dashboard, access the Hostinger Website Builder and choose a pre-made template that fits your brand or product type. You can describe your business — for example, “create books” — and let Hostinger AI generate a design for you. If you’re not happy with the result, simply hit “Create Again” until you find a version you like.

Step 2: Connect Your Custom Domain

From the hPanel, go to “Websites,” click the three dots, and select “Connect Domain.” Enter your domain name, hit next, and Hostinger will guide you through pointing your domain to their platform. This step ensures your store has a professional, branded web address.

Step 3: Add a Digital Product

In your website dashboard, go to your store management area and click on “Add Products.” Select “Digital Product” and upload your files. You can either let Hostinger AI generate product descriptions or write them yourself for greater accuracy.

Upload a high-quality product image — especially important for things like coloring books. Use the AI text editor to rephrase or lengthen descriptions, and even insert YouTube videos directly into the product page for better engagement.

Step 4: Set Pricing and Delivery

You can set your product price (e.g. $7), create an SKU, and enable download limits (such as 7 or 30 days). If your file is large, you can link to cloud services like Google Drive or Dropbox. Add any additional info in the “More Information” section.

Step 5: Enable Checkout

Set up a shipping option (even if it’s digital — use a free worldwide option to bypass errors). Then, connect a payment method like PayPal. Once that’s done, your store is ready to go.

Step 6: Test the Checkout Process

Publish your product and try checking out to test the full experience. Fill in your email, download the files, and check the confirmation email and order details.

Step 7: Manage Orders

Head to the “Orders” tab to view order history, download invoices, and manage customer data such as name, email, and product purchased.
