How to Redirect to a “Thank You” Page After Form Submission in Hostinger Website Builder

June 29, 2025

Redirecting users to a custom thank you page after they submit a form is a great way to enhance user experience and drive engagement. In this quick guide, you’ll learn how to set it up using the Hostinger Website Builder.

Why Use a Thank You Page?

By default, Hostinger displays a small “Thank You” message on the same page after a form is submitted. While that’s functional, a dedicated thank you page allows you to:

  • Acknowledge the user’s message more clearly
  • Provide next steps like visiting your blog or services
  • Track form conversions more effectively

Step 1: Log Into Your Hostinger Website Builder

Head to your Hostinger account, go to your Websites dashboard, and click Edit Website next to the one you’re working on.

Step 2: Create a New Contact Page

Go to Pages & Navigation, click Add Page, and select a Contact template. This is where your form will live.

Step 3: Preview the Default Behavior

Visit your new contact page and test the form. After submitting, you’ll see a simple message. That’s what we’re going to upgrade.

Step 4: Create a Custom Thank You Page

  1. Go back to Pages & Navigation
  2. Click Add Page and choose an Empty Page
  3. Add a Text Element that says something like:
“Thank you for reaching out. Your message has been received. We’ll get back to you within 24 to 48 hours. In the meantime, feel free to browse our [blog] or [services] page.”
  4. Add links to your blog and services directly in the message
  5. Click Save and Update Website

Step 5: Hide the Thank You Page from Navigation

By default, new pages appear in the main menu. To hide the thank you page:

  • Go to Pages & Navigation
  • Find the page under “Hidden from Navigation”
  • Click the three dots and select Hide from Navigation

Step 6: Redirect the Contact Form

  • Go back to your Contact Page
  • Click the form, then Edit Form
  • Switch to the Button tab
  • Under “When visitor submits a form,” choose Link to Page
  • Select your new thank you page from the list

Step 7: Rename and Finalize

You may want to rename your thank you page to keep things tidy:

  • Go to Pages & Navigation
  • Click the three dots next to the thank you page
  • Choose Rename, enter “Thank You Page,” and click Save

That’s It!

Now when someone fills out your contact form, they’ll be redirected to a polished and professional thank you page—no coding required.
