How to Hide a Page from Search Engines in Hostinger Website Builder | Hostinger SEO Tutorial

July 9, 2025

If you’re using Hostinger Website Builder and want to keep certain pages hidden from search engines like Google, you’re in the right place. Whether it’s a private landing page, a thank-you page, or an under-construction area, hiding pages from search engines is simple and quick with Hostinger’s built-in SEO tools.

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Log into Your Hostinger Account
Start by logging into your Hostinger dashboard. Go to the Websites tab and click the Edit Website button next to the site you want to modify.

2. Open Pages and Navigation
Inside the website builder, look for the Pages & Navigation icon. Click it to open a sidebar listing all the visible pages on your site.

3. Access SEO Settings for the Page
Find the page you want to hide. Click the three dots next to its name, then select SEO Settings from the dropdown menu.

4. Hide the Page from Search Results
In the SEO settings window, locate the option labeled “Hide page from search results” and toggle it on. This tells search engines not to index the page.

5. Publish the Changes
Close the SEO settings window and click Update Website to make the changes live.

Why Hide Pages from Search Engines?

  • Privacy: Keep personal or sensitive pages out of search results.
  • Design or Testing: Prevent unfinished pages from being indexed.
  • Conversion Strategy: Exclude thank-you or checkout pages from public listings.

This method ensures your website remains professional and optimized for user experience and SEO.
