How to Create a Table of Content in Hostinger Website Builder (Step-by-Step Guide)

July 24, 2025

If you’re using Hostinger Website Builder and want to add a clickable Table of Content (TOC) to your website, this guide will walk you through it—even though Hostinger doesn’t have a native TOC element.

Why Add a Table of Content?

Adding a TOC is great for improving user experience, especially on long pages. Visitors can instantly jump to the section they’re most interested in—whether it’s a gallery, blog, newsletter signup, or footer.

Step 1: Log In and Access the Website Editor

Start by logging in to your Hostinger account. From your dashboard, go to “Websites” and click “Edit Website” on the one you’d like to update.

Step 2: Add the TOC Title

  1. Click on Add Element > Text.
  2. Add a text block and label it “Table of Content”.
  3. Resize and position it wherever you’d like on the page.

Step 3: Identify Page Sections

Note all the sections you want to link to. For example:

  • Discover Adventures
  • Gallery
  • Latest Blog Post
  • Newsletter
  • Footer

Add text labels or titles to these sections if they don’t exist already.

Step 4: Add Anchors to Each Section

For each section:

  1. Click on the section.
  2. Select Edit Section.
  3. Go to the Anchor tab and give it a unique name (e.g., adventures, gallery, newsletter).

Step 5: Link TOC Text to Anchors

  1. Go back to your Table of Content text block.
  2. Add a new text element for each section (e.g., “Gallery”).
  3. Highlight the text > click Link > select Link to Section.
  4. Choose the correct anchor from the list and save.

Step 6: Test the TOC

Publish your changes and view the live site. Click each TOC link to ensure it jumps to the right section.
