If you’re running an online store using Hostinger Website Builder and need to change your store currency, you’re in the right place. In this tutorial, we’ll walk you through the entire process — from managing payment methods to updating regional settings.
Step 1: Log Into Your Hostinger Account
Start by logging into your Hostinger account. Head to the “Websites” section, find your site built with Hostinger Website Builder, and click on Edit Website.
Step 2: Access the Store Management Panel
Once in the editor, switch from the Website Builder interface to Manage Store. This will give you access to all eCommerce settings.
Step 3: Go to Store Details
In the store dashboard, click on Settings, then go to Store Details. Under Regional Settings, you’ll see your currently selected store currency.
If the currency option is greyed out and uneditable, this means a payment method is still connected to your store.
Step 4: Disconnect Payment Gateways
To make the currency editable, go to Settings > Payments. If you see PayPal (or any other gateway) listed, click Manage and then Disconnect.
Once no payment method is active, go back to Store Details and the currency field will now be editable.
Step 5: Select and Save Your New Currency
Choose your desired store currency — for example, Euro (EUR) — from the list, then click Save.
Step 6: Update and Publish
After saving, return to the Website Builder and click Update Website to apply the changes. Visit your live store to confirm that the new currency is now in use.
