If you’re using the Hostinger Website Builder and want to showcase upcoming events, appointments, or any kind of schedule on your website, adding a calendar can make a huge difference. Here’s a complete guide to help you do just that — quickly and for free.
Step 1: Log In to Your Hostinger Account
Start by logging into your Hostinger dashboard. Go to the Websites tab and select the site where you want to add your calendar. Click Edit Website.
Step 2: Create a New Calendar Page
To keep things organized, it’s best to create a new page specifically for your calendar.
- Go to Pages & Navigation
- Click Add Page
- Choose Empty Page
- Add a Blank Section to start fresh
Step 3: Add a Calendar Using Common Ninja
Open a new tab and visit commonninja.com.
- Navigate to Widgets
- Search for “Calendar”
- Select the Calendar Widget
- Click Create Calendar
Now start customizing your calendar:
- Add events (start date, end date, all-day, recurring)
- Include event title, location, and description
- Add links if needed
- Customize colors and layout
Once you’re happy with your calendar, click Save Changes and Publish.
Step 4: Embed the Calendar in Hostinger
- Copy the embed code from Common Ninja
- Return to Hostinger builder
- Click Add Element > Embed Code
- Paste your code, then resize the widget to fit your layout
- Click Update Website
Step 5: Preview and Manage Events
Preview your live website to see the new calendar in action. Each event will be shown as scheduled. To update your calendar:
- Return to Common Ninja
- Edit or add events
- Click Publish
Changes will sync automatically on your website.
