How to Add HTML Code in Hostinger Website Builder (Quick Guide)

July 6, 2025

If you’re using Hostinger Website Builder and need to add a custom HTML code — whether it’s for a widget, form, or script — this quick tutorial will walk you through the entire process, even if you’re a beginner.

Step 1: Log Into Hostinger

First, log into your Hostinger account. From the dashboard, go to Websites, then next to your desired website, click Edit Website.

Step 2: Add a Blank Section

Before embedding any code, it’s a good idea to create a blank section where the HTML code will live:

  • Click Add Section
  • Select Add Blank Section

Step 3: Add the Embed Code Element

To insert your HTML:

  • Click the plus (+) icon to add an element
  • Scroll down and choose Embed Code
  • Drag and drop it into your blank section
  • Click Enter Code, delete the default snippet, and paste your own HTML code

If you don’t have HTML ready, you can use a simple placeholder like:

htmlCopyEdit<h2>Hello from my Hostinger site!</h2>
<p>This is custom HTML embedded using the website builder.</p>

Step 4: Save and Publish

Once you’ve added your code:

  • Click Embed Code to confirm
  • Click Update Website in the top-right corner to publish the change
  • View your website live to ensure it’s working correctly

Note: Some HTML elements may not display in the preview due to limitations in the visual builder, but they often appear correctly on the live site.
