How to Add Google Reviews to Hostinger Website Builder

July 2, 2025

If you’re using Hostinger Website Builder to create your site, adding Google Reviews is one of the smartest ways to build trust with new visitors. Social proof from real customers boosts credibility, improves conversion rates, and gives your site a more authentic feel. In this tutorial, we’ll walk you through the exact steps to integrate Google Reviews into your Hostinger-built website — no technical skills needed.

Step 1: Log In to Hostinger and Access Your Website

First, log into your Hostinger account. Head to the Websites tab and click Edit Website next to the one you want to modify.

Step 2: Add a Blank Section for Reviews

Hover between two sections on your page and click Add Section, then choose Blank Section. This gives you space to embed your reviews.

Step 3: Add the Embed Code Element

Click Add Element and search for “Embed Code.” Drag and drop it into the blank section.

Step 4: Use Elfsight to Generate the Review Widget

Go to elsite.com (powered by Elfsight) and select Google Reviews under the “Reviews” category. Click Create Widget for Free. Choose from various templates like carousels, floating badges, or minimalistic layouts.

Then, enter your business name, address, or Google Maps link to pull up your actual Google reviews. Apply filters if needed:

  • Show only 4 or 5-star reviews
  • Exclude reviews with specific words (like “fake”)
  • Limit the number of reviews
  • Sort by most recent or random

Once satisfied, click Add to Website, publish the widget, and copy the embed code.

Step 5: Paste the Code into Hostinger

Go back to your Hostinger website editor, click the embed code element, delete the placeholder code, and paste the new code. Wait a few seconds for the preview to load, then Update your website to publish the changes.
